February 13, 2008
Do you wish to rip and back up any DVD to your hard drive? You can easily do this with DVD Rip, a freeware Windows application that automates the entire DVD-to-hard-drive backup process. All you need to do is insert your DVD, run DVD Rip, and let it take care of the rest.
DVD Rip Automated DVD Backup
DVD Rip is licensed under the GNU Public License. It automates the process of ripping and backing up DVDs to your hard drive in conjunction with the freeware application DVD Shrink.
It is distributed as a simple executable, which means that you can use the software without installation. Just clicking the application icon. You can keep the DVD Rip any where on your PC and use it by double-click the application whenever you want to rip a new DVD.
You can also burn copies of DVDs using ImgBurn, an opensource application for burning ISO [images of disks].
